Setup guide

Set up IPTV on Samsung or LG Smart TV

The Smart IPTV app gives you live TV directly on your Samsung Tizen or LG WebOS — no Firestick, no Android box, no extra cables.

    Smart IPTV

Default choice — works on both Samsung and LG.

  • SET IPTV

Alternative if Smart IPTV isn't available in your TV's region.

Step-by-step setup

Follow the steps in order. The full setup takes 5 min.

  1. 1

    Have your IPTV credentials ready

Your IPTV provider will send you an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials (server URL, username, password) by email after you subscribe. Have those details on hand before starting.

  2. 2

Install Smart IPTV from the TV's app store

Open the TV's app store (Samsung Apps on Tizen, Content Store on LG). Search 'Smart IPTV'. Install. If you can't find the app, search 'SET IPTV' instead.

  3. 3

    Get the TV's MAC address

Launch the app. At the bottom you'll see the TV's MAC address (format AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF). Write it down or snap a photo.

  4. 4

Activate the M3U URL on smartiptv.app

Go to siteurl.example/mylist on a computer or mobile. Fill in your MAC address, paste the M3U URL from your welcome email and press 'Add link'.

  5. 5

Restart the app on the TV

Press Exit and open Smart IPTV again. Channels load in. Can take up to 2 minutes the first time.

  6. 6

    Start watching

Use the channel buttons on the remote or punch in the channel number directly to jump to a channel.

Done! If anything still isn’t working, check your provider’s support page or email hello@streamnest.tv and we’ll try to help.

Troubleshooting

  • Smart IPTV isn't available in the app store

Some TV regions hide it. Change your TV region to Germany or the UK in the TV's settings, restart, then reinstall.

  • One-off fee for Smart IPTV (€5.49)

After the 7-day free trial, Smart IPTV charges a one-off fee per MAC address. That's a fee to the app developer, not to your IPTV provider — SET IPTV is a free alternative.
