Step-by-step setup
Follow the steps in order. The full setup takes 8 min.
- 1
Have your IPTV credentials ready
Your IPTV provider will send you an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials (server URL, username, password) by email after you subscribe. Have those details on hand before starting.
- 2
SSH into the box
Find the box's IP address (Settings → System → Network). SSH from your computer: ssh root@<box-ip>. Default password is usually empty or 'dreambox' / 'root'.
- 3
Convert the M3U URL to an Enigma2 bouquet
Ask your IPTV provider if they supply an Enigma2 bouquet file — many do. If not, tools like M3U-to-Bouquet converters (available as free web tools) can generate the file from your M3U URL.
- 4
Upload the bouquet file
Use SCP or FTP to upload the file to /etc/enigma2/. Then SSH: chmod 644 userbouquet.iptv.tv.
- 5
Reload the bouquets
On the box menu: Settings → Service searching → Reload bouquets. Or via SSH: wget -qO- 'http://<box-ip>/web/servicelistreload?mode=0'.
- 6
Find the IPTV bouquet
Press the Bouquet button (TV → left/right) until you see your IPTV bouquet. All channels are there, organised into the categories from your provider's playlist.
Done! If anything still isn’t working, check your provider’s support page or email hello@streamnest.tv and we’ll try to help.
Troubleshooting
'No service' on every channel
Check that the M3U URL in the script matches your welcome email exactly. Easy mistake: extra space or missing port number.
Stutter on 4K channels
VU+ Uno 4K and Zgemma H9 handle 4K. Older Dreambox 800 / VU+ Solo can only do HD — drop the quality preference in the M3U.
