Step-by-step setup
Follow the steps in order. The full setup takes 6 min.
- 1
Have your IPTV credentials ready
Your IPTV provider will send you an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials (server URL, username, password) by email after you subscribe. Have those details on hand before starting.
- 2
Find your MAG box MAC address
Turn on the MAG box. Go to the main menu → Settings → System Settings → About → note the MAC address (12 characters, format AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF). Your provider needs this to activate your subscription on the box.
- 3
Open Settings → Portals
Press Settings (or SET on the remote) → System settings → Servers → Portals.
- 4
Fill in Portal 1
Portal 1 Name: give it any name (e.g. 'My IPTV'). Portal 1 URL: the portal URL from your provider's welcome email (starts with http://). Leave Portal 2 empty.
- 5
Save and reboot the portal
Press OK to save. Return to the main menu. Press the red button (Power) → select Reboot Portal.
- 6
Start watching
The box restarts against our portal. You land directly in the channel grid. Use the number buttons or P+/P- to zap.
Done! If anything still isn’t working, check your provider’s support page or email hello@streamnest.tv and we’ll try to help.
Troubleshooting
'Portal not found' on boot
Double-check that the MAC address you sent support matches the box's MAC (Settings → About). Common mistake: 0 and O confused.
Buffering on 4K channels
Settings → System settings → Servers → general → Hardware video decoder → ON. Helps on MAG 254/256.
