Recommended apps

  • Recommended

    TiviMate

    Recommended — best EPG experience.

    Google Play

  • IPTV Smarters Pro

    Free alternative, also great.

Step-by-step setup

Follow the steps in order. The full setup takes 4 min.

  1. 1

    Have your IPTV credentials ready

Your IPTV provider will send you an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials (server URL, username, password) by email after you subscribe. Have those details on hand before starting.

  2. 2

    Install TiviMate from Google Play

Open Google Play on the Android TV device. Search for 'TiviMate IPTV Player' and install it. The free version is enough to get going.

  3. 3

Launch TiviMate and add the playlist

On first launch choose 'Add playlist' → 'Login with Xtream Codes'. Fill in the server URL, username and password from your welcome email.

  4. 4

Wait for the EPG to load

TiviMate loads the TV guide, channel icons and VOD in the background. Takes 1-3 minutes on first launch.

  5. 5

    Configure the EPG layout

Settings → Appearance → pick your favourite EPG layout. Tip: 'TV Guide' with 5 channels at a time gives the best overview on a big screen.

  6. 6

    Start watching

Back to the channel list. Press OK to start a channel, press down for EPG, left arrow for categories.

Done! If anything still isn’t working, check your provider’s support page or email hello@streamnest.tv and we’ll try to help.

Troubleshooting

  • Channel switching is slow

Settings → Playback → choose 'EXOPlayer' as the player. Zap time drops below 0.5 sec.

  • Buffering on Wi-Fi

Playback → Buffer size → increase to 30 sec. Helps on wireless Wi-Fi setups.
